beekeepers and bug out locations
For anyone out there who has good property that they intend to use wtshtf
consider having bees placed on it if it is suitable for them most comercial beekeepers are always looking for good locations most would probably be happy to give 60 to 100 pounds of honey per location which could be added to your preps each year. If tshtf while the bees were on your land you would have pollinators for crops and (depending on time of year)a very substantial honey and beeswax resource. long term and severe disruptions to transport would severely affect beekeepers ability to keep their bees alive and I would expect many locations to be abandoned and beekeepers to downsize operations to avoid supplamental feeding which is now common. beekeepers would visit regular which could help with security in some remote locations.Bees themselves can also be a deterant to vandalism and theft. |
